The Contact Repair Kit is the focused subset of the Micro-Metallizer system used by electronics technicians, aerospace MRO crews, and avionics repair shops to restore conductivity to worn or corroded electrical contacts.
The three pens in the kit — Absorbent (for cleaning the contact surface), Nickel (as an underlayer), and Gold 24K (as the final conductive layer) — execute the standard contact-restoration sequence on copper-based connectors, edge connectors, switch contacts, and connector pins.
This kit is significantly more cost-effective than the Deluxe Kit if your work is centered on electrical contact repair rather than general-purpose plating. The Heavy Duty version is available for shops doing higher-volume restoration work.
