Heavy-duty nickel pen for thick nickel deposits. Used as a heavy underlayer for gold, rhodium, and other precious metal platings.
Heavy-duty nickel pen for thick nickel deposits. Used as a heavy underlayer for gold, rhodium, and other precious metal platings.
The Heavy Duty Nickel Pen is the production-grade equivalent of the standard Nickel pen (PL-1006). Most often used to lay down the thicker nickel underlayer required for production-volume gold or rhodium plating sequences.
Also used for standalone nickel build-up applications — restoring worn nickel coatings on machinery components, plating contact surfaces, and corrosion-protection touch-up on industrial equipment.
Apply over copper directly; use the Copper Heavy Duty Pen (PL-1019) for a flash layer on steel, brass, and other non-copper substrates.
