Gold 18K Plating Pen (Micro-Metallizer)
Plate 18K gold for jewelry and decorative applications where a warmer tone is preferred over 24K.
Plate 18K gold for jewelry and decorative applications where a warmer tone is preferred over 24K.
The 18K Gold Plating Pen is the jeweler's standard for spot plating where the warmer, harder-wearing tone of 18-karat gold is preferred over the softer pure 24K finish.
Used across antique jewelry restoration, custom jewelry finishing, and decorative metalwork. The Micro-Metallizer pen format makes it possible to selectively plate intricate features — engraved detail, settings, clasps — without immersing the entire piece in a plating bath.
Requires Absorbent / Degreaser pen for surface prep. On non-gold/silver/nickel substrates, apply Nickel underlayer first. Heavy-duty variant (PL-1017) is available for higher-volume operations.
