Overview

The 18K Gold Plating Pen deposits 18-karat gold, a harder-wearing finish than pure 24K, for high-contact industrial components and touch-up on existing 18K-plated parts.

The Micro-Metallizer pen format makes it possible to selectively plate small features without immersing the entire part in a plating bath.

Requires Absorbent / Degreaser pen for surface prep. On non-gold/silver/nickel substrates, apply Nickel underlayer first. Heavy-duty variant (PL-1017) is available for higher-volume operations.
