Standard 1/8" × 2½" tungsten-carbide electrode for the Carbitron 300 system. Supplied with the system; used for general-purpose deposition.
The 1/8" tungsten-carbide electrode is the general-purpose electrode supplied with every new Carbitron 300 diamond-dusting system. It handles the majority of standard tungsten-carbide deposition work — edge hardening, surface coating on medical instruments, tooling, and industrial components.
Electrodes are consumables: they wear down with deposition use and need to be replaced periodically. This SKU is for direct replacement when the original 1/8" electrode from the kit reaches end of service life.
For finer-detail work, see the 1/16" electrode (TS3039); for precision work on small or delicate surfaces, the 1/32" electrode (TS3040).
