Fine 1/16" × 2½" tungsten-carbide electrode for the Carbitron 300 system. Supplied with the system; used for finer work on smaller surfaces.
The 1/16" tungsten-carbide electrode is the fine-detail electrode for the Carbitron 300 system. Used on smaller features where the 1/8" electrode's coverage area is too coarse — dental instrument edges, small surgical tools, precision tooling.
The smaller cross-section also concentrates the deposition current, producing a slightly different deposit profile that some applications require.
Like all Carbitron 300 electrodes, this is a consumable item replaced periodically as it wears down with use.
